  • Day 1:
    On arrival into Edinburgh airport, you will be met by your driver who will lead you to the waiting car. Transfer & check in to the 5* Old Course Hotel, where you will have time at leisure to enjoy the facilities.

  • Day 2:
    Today, you have the opportunity to play a round of golf on the challenging Dukes Golf Course:
    With a spectacular setting above St Andrews, the championship The Duke's gives magnificent panoramic views over the surrounding countryside to the sea. The Duke's is highly regarded as one of the finest heath land championship courses in the British Isles and a must-play course for any golfer. Its style ranks alongside the great inland challenges, which demand accuracy and inventive play as well as power golf. And with five separate tee positions at every hole, The Duke's has the flexibility and challenge to appeal to golfers at every level, with the venue being chosen to host the 2014 International European Amateur Championship, one of the four majors in the world of amateur golf.
    There is also the opportunity to benefit from some professional instruction at the Dukes Golf Academy (lessons MUST be booked in advance):
    The Dukes Golf Academy at St Andrews offers comprehensive golf teaching services. First-class facilities include a driving range, putting green, and chipping and bunker area. Lesson and course types are suitable for everyone from complete beginners to more experienced players and include a variety of coaching classes.

  • Day 3:
    Day at leisure to enjoy St Andrews:
    St Andrews is the home of the oldest university in Scotland and capital of golf with its famous and prestigious Old Course. The remains of the 12th century cathedral, the largest in Scotland and the medieval layout of the town are still visible. You can also see the 13th century castle overlooking the North Sea, where, during the Reformation, many evil deeds took place in the Bottle Dungeon. You will enjoy the traditional small shops and the beautiful sea views.
    Why not visit the British Golf Museum, where you will encounter many famous professionals and amateurs of status. Touch screen videos allow visitors to look deeper into the lives of champions and to test their skills and knowledge of the game of golf. The 18th hole, provides visitors with the opportunity to try out old clubs and balls on a mini-putting green. Alternatively, just spend the day relaxing in the hotels Spa, with over 30 treatments available.
    Before dinner this evening, savour Scotlands National Drink in a tutuored whisky tasting by one of the resorts experts, you will have the chance to sample 3 different whiskies.
